Lutron Automated Shades
Lutron automated shades
Effectively control natural light in your home with Lutron automated shades.
With over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the automated shading industry, Lutron is a world leader in precision controlled automated window treatments. Lutron shading solutions believes in utilizing daylight effectively to reduce the need for electric light for energy savings. Lutron offers hard wired and battery powered window shades for automated control with the touch of a button on your smart phone, tablet, or sleek Lutron touchpanels.
SaaviHome can integrate your Lutron shades with other home technology systems such as HVAC control. Should the temperature in your house go above 75 degrees, we can program your shades to come down and block sunlight rather than running your AC!
Lutron Automated window shades can be hard-wired for power and communication or can operate on battery power, making Lutron roller shades an optimal solution for any home- new or established! They operate in near silence and typically have a lifespan of over 10 years.
The Lutron Pico remote control allows you to raise and lower the shades in your home with the press of the button. The Lutron app for your smart phone or tablet allows for the same, in addition to scene setting, time schedules, and integration with other technology systems in your home.
Lutron Palladiom Roller Shades
Lutron Roller Shades utilize the ultra-quiet, precision controlled Electronic Drive Unit (EDU). The EDU is housed inside the roller shade and controls the movement of the shade, keeps track of the shade’s position, and adjusts the shade to the user’s desired position.
SaaviHome is here to help select the right fabric for your shade project. We recommend considering the aesthetic of the interior of the room, the outdoor views that the windows provide, and the level of privacy required for each given room. Choose a fabric that complements the décor of your space and gives you the degree of privacy according to the function of the interior space. A sheer fabric may be ideal for a kitchen or living-room application to allow for a view, while a translucent or blackout shade might be most appealing in a bedroom application.
The color of a fabric can affect views and room temperature. The ideal fabric color can vary by project based on location, orientation, design aesthetics, or whether a space requires glare control. Lighter colored fabrics work well in indirect light environments, while a darker fabric will help to reduce glare.
Lutron fabrics are made using many different materials to suit different purposes.
This lightweight, strong material serves as a good insulator and doesn’t stretch over time. PVC coating adds strength and durability, but cannot typically be recycled.
Comparably durable to PVC-coated fiberglass, the yarn core in polyester can be melted to make a clean-cut edge resulting in better edge-quality.
These fabrics are made with virtually no harmful chemical content (PVC-free). Polyester fabrics can be recycled and are considered more environmentally friendly than other fabric types. Polyester does tend to stretch over time – most vendors pre-stretch the fabric to minimize elongation of the shade.
Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO)
Designed to be tough and durable like polyester, TPO fabrics are made with virtually no harmful chemical content, allowing them to often be recyclable. TPOs have additional chemicals to meet fire-retardancy requirements and have relatively poor wear resistance over time.
